Our friend/realtor/comedian, Jeremy Larkin, invited us to go cruisin' in the shuttle, AKA the REO Speedwagon! We joined Jeremy and his wife Megan, and friends Allison and Vasu, along with a few of their friends, and my good friend Katie Melo. There were 10 of us on board, plus a wee babe, and we had a great time. Complimentary entertainment the whole time, courtesy of Jeremy's comedy show. It was great! I think I had more fun in the shuttle than in any of the homes.
This was one of my fav ideas and something I want to do, (when we can afford our backyard.) Jeremy here is giving you an idea of the fun the kids could have with this. So not just a trampoline in the ground, but sand underneath and a slide that gets you down there. What a great idea this was. OK so you do have to be careful and monitor, no jumping while in the sand. But I thought it was brilliant - first of all because you can get underneath the tramp to keep it clean, and second, awesome hideaway for the kids, sand pile included. The best idea I came away with!
We are looking forward to the shuttle next year, especially with the planned upgrades! Thanks guys, it was fun! I wanted to get a group photo, but it didn't happen. Next year....

You'll have to explain to me how that slide under the tramp works...how deep was the hole? It would scare me someone would get jumped on, but it sounds fun too!
What a fun day Josie! I remember Jeremy from High School and he is a crack up! I bet you guys had a blast riding around in that thing. I love the Parade of Homes. Most of the stuff is too out there to really want, but you can get some really great ideas - the trampoline/sandbox is a keeper for sure. Get goin' on that and invite us over to play in it!
What a great idea!
Sounds like a fun day.
I was ad we missed the parade this year. I heard the homes were incredible-as always! But I heard there were a lot of cool things that were especially directed towards the kids. The shuttle looks like fun....
This really was so much fun! Thanks again for including me. I agree, the shuttle ride was one of the best rides I've ever had. Every time I saw that big green bus it made me smile. Thanks, thank you, thank you!
Oh, and I haven't stopped thinking about that trampoline idea either.
What a fun day & what a cute blog you have! EVERY picture of your kids is so cute!!! I miss my little Madeline singing the bumble bee song. :)
How fun is that! Jeremy totally cracked me up at the Halloween party. He is one funny guy. I can only imagine that the ride was one of the best parts!
