Of course I was counting down the days to the opening of the Twilight movie, I couldn't believe I was so excited over a movie! We had a group 7 couples that went together and had a great time! My sister, Trit, and her friend Shelly got there 2 hours early to get in line, and we were so thankful! I walked in and I was so giddy! It was exciting just to be there in line with my sis and friends. Most of us girls got there to wait in line and our husbands joined us later, but I had to laugh at the fact that it was 4 of us girls, Me, Trit, Shelly & Kathryn, and then Dustin, the awesome husband who came to wait in line with us girls while his wife got the kids taken care of. I wish I had gotten a picture of him sitting on the floor waiting in line with us girls. It was great, I love you for that Dustin! (We had 3 Dustins and 2 Ryans with us, not to mention 3 pregnant women, what a group!) We had such a fun time!
Now for the movie... as I am a HUGE fan of the book, I have to say I was disappointed. I did enjoy the movie, and it was good, but it just left SO much out. I was the most bothered by the fact that Bella and Edward never said "I love you" in the movie. They left out some of the best conversations they have in the book and so much of the intensity and depth of their relationship. But, still good, still worth seeing. If you like the movie, you will LOVE the book. Great night. Thanks for the fun girls!

MAN! I'm so jealous you've seen the movie!!! Wish I would have been there with you! I can't wait to go (I'm dragging Kenny over Thanksgiving). I was going to go opening night with girlfriends and Addison got sick (go figure!). Love the shirts! :) You look so cute! It has been interesting hearing everyone's responses...very mixed! Movies are rarely as good as the book. So fun. Love all of your posts. I can't believe Ryan's parents are moving out of that house! I have a lot of good memories there too. :)
Are you one of the three pregnant girls? Because I had a dream the other night that I saw you and you had a tiny new baby girl with you. spill the beans.
I wonder the same thing Stac! But you are not alone in feeling that way about the movie. I personally haven't read the books, or seen the movie, but friends of mine that have, have said they were a little disappointed about the movie. They said it was good, but of course never as good as the book. :)
NO! I am NOT pregnant. (Thankfully!) The 3 would be Trit, Kathryn and Ashley. And the movie really is good, just not as amazing as the book. It is a MUST read!
I'm jealous. Wished I could have come. It's been interesting to hear what everybody says about it. Still haven't made it out to see. It seems the movies are never quite like our imaginations, right?
Look how cute you are! Actually you make me sick. You are so pretty! Well, I just have to say, i loved twilight! I love that your men went with you. I couldn't believe how many guys were at the theater. There was even a guy with tatoos all over his face there. I just kept thinking, this doesn't seem like the right kind of movie for a guy like that!
As a fellow Twilight fan, I am wondering where you got your cute matching shirts!?! Sounds like you had tons of fun!
I have to say I totally agree with you! The movie was good, but not NEAR as good as the books. I ended up kind of frustrated. Yep! I gave in! And I got SUCKED in! I read all 4 books in one week, then ended it with the movie. I still keep reading parts over. I really want to buy them - I know I'll want to read them again!
Yay for Twilight!! I'm so glad we didn't have to wait till December when it was originally supposed to come out!
