Mother's Circus Animal Cookies
A couple weeks ago my sister heard that Mother's Cookies was going out of business, I just couldn't believe it. Mother's, they have been around forever! Everyone loves those pink and white animal cookies, such a classic kid treat! So on my last trip to Harmons I asked and got confirmation from the manager that they are going out of business, and that the cookies that were on the shelf were the last they were going to have. So I decided there was only one thing I could do, buy some. Then eat them, and of course take pictures to remember them by.
Now I'm just wishing I would have grabbed a bag of the regular ones. The Holiday ones are fun, but just not the same. I just love those pink and white cookies. So sad. Glad the kids enjoyed them one last time.

I am so sad that Mother's is going out of business! Those pink and white circus cookies are, or I guess it would be more appropriate to say 'were' a guilty pleasure of mine, not to mention all the good memories they brought back from when I was little.
yum i love those. my sis in law had told me the news... so sad. oh well, they're bad for us anyway, but sinfully good.
Oh man! Seriously. I didn't buy them very often, but how sad. Guess I will have to make more homemade cookies so my kids can have memories of "mothers" cookies. LOL just being dorky!
How tragic! Its the passing of an Era. We totally miss you guys in the ward.

I can't believe how big Madi has gotten!! She has turned into such a BEAUTIFUL little girl... no more babies at your house. I'm going to have to check for some cookies too... I hope there are some left when I get to the store. So sad.
Oh no, I love those! In fact, I ate them like they were going out of business when I was prego! Those little pink and white cookies are the best! I'm sad, and tomorrow, I will have to go by some as well!

Those are my & my kids favorite store bought cookies...I need to run to the store fast and get me some! Cute pictures by the way. ;-)

Well who do they think they are going out of business like that? Those are the best. I love those cookies. They remind me of my Grandma. She always had them at her house. Can't they just score some of the bailout money to stay in business?
That is strange! Once I ate one I couldn't stop. Yummy! It is so sad!
