Goodbye to Grandma & Grandpa's House

It actually happened. They moved. We have so many great memories of fun times at Grandma and Grandpa's. (Not to mention the really good memories from Me and Ryan's dating days:) Sad day.

Rah! Rah! Rah! Firemen!

Pierce had a great first soccer season, he loved it and we loved it! He had fun playing and the boys all became great little buddies. We had fun getting to know the other families too. We had a soccer team party the night before their last game, thanks to Kathryn for hosting! The familes all came for a night of pizza, and of course Costco Cake and ice cream. What a great night!

Yay Firemen!
Pierson's first trophy, he was SO excited!

Jumpin Jacks

I finally took the kids to Jumpin Jacks. I had been avoiding it for fear of 1-germs and 2-lots of bigger kids/my kids getting trampled over. So we finally went on a day that the kindergarten kids didn't have school. It was great. They practically had the place to themselves. Madi was terrified at first, but once she warmed up, she was all over the place. Once she went down the "big huge slide" that was all she wanted to do. We went with their best friends, Grant & Annie, and they all had so much fun!

Mother's Circus Animal Cookies

A couple weeks ago my sister heard that Mother's Cookies was going out of business, I just couldn't believe it. Mother's, they have been around forever! Everyone loves those pink and white animal cookies, such a classic kid treat! So on my last trip to Harmons I asked and got confirmation from the manager that they are going out of business, and that the cookies that were on the shelf were the last they were going to have. So I decided there was only one thing I could do, buy some. Then eat them, and of course take pictures to remember them by.

Now I'm just wishing I would have grabbed a bag of the regular ones. The Holiday ones are fun, but just not the same. I just love those pink and white cookies. So sad. Glad the kids enjoyed them one last time.

We had a week full of fun for Halloween...

Our Friendly Halloween Ghosts
The Little Lady Bug - With the inspiration from a friend I made Madi's cosume. I LOVE when I find an easy craft I can actually do. It turned out so cute, I was so excited! I just coulnd't get over how adorable she looked! The REAL Spiderman
Pierce with his loot from trick-or-treating
Madi with her goods
The kids also loved running to the door when trick-or-treaters came to our house! (And a great back view of Madi's costume, so cute!)
Ryan & Me - I had WAY too much fun doing my hair like this. I just couldn't help but think, I would have been so much cooler if I had been in high school in the 80's!
Gotta love my huge bow!

Girls' Night Out!

Kathryn, Josie, Staci S.

Katie, Staci D., Staci S.

This fall I started doing a playgroup for Madi with 4 cute Moms in my new ward. It has been so fun getting to know them! This week we decided that we needed to do a night out for all of our birthdays, what a fantastic idea this was! We went out for dinner at 25 Main for Staci S.'s birthday. Such a fun night! Happy Birthday Staci! Thanks Girls! Can't wait for the next birthday!

Fun at The Farm

One of my favorite things to do this time of year is taking the kids to Staheli Farm. They loved seeing all the animals, climbing on the giant haystack, and of course picking out pumpkins! Pierson also loves the corn slide, but Madi's not quite ready for that. They had an absolute ball and I loved watching them have so much fun! We love the farm and are thankful that the Staheli Family puts so much effort into making it possible for us to have this fun family tradition. (The locals that know Sherrie know how much she puts into this, she is truly amazing and I love her!)
