Madi LOVED meeting the princesses! (and we loved it too as we did not have to wait in line for 2 hours to meet them)
After lunch, the rain really started coming down! It was POURING! We decide to head to the hotel (Kenny and Erin were smart to get us hotel rooms for the one night) to get dry, and got completely SOAKED just walking out of the park!
Shortly after getting everyone into dry clothes, the rain cleared up, and I went to work blow drying all of our shoes. The evening was perfect! The rain had cleared the park and we were so happy to be back in dry clothes.
We love the Monsters Inc. ride and because there was absolutely no one else around they let us go again! It was great! We caught a few rides in "Bugs Land" and then headed off to find the "Toy Story" ride, which was new to all of us.

Madi & AddieThe Toy Story ride is for sure my new favorite! Pierce LOVED it, more than the Buzz Lightyear ride, which says a lot! I couldn't believe we hadn't know about it before. For sure the cutest thing and a must for anyone heading to California Adventure.

I'm going to have to hear all the details of the can't miss rides since we'll be heading there this fall with all our kids... it looks like you guys know all the fun spots!

So fun Josie! That was the perfect day! Even with the rain. Mixed things up a little. :) The pics you got of Madi with the princesses were so darling! And I love Pierce and Ellie in their glasses. Makes me miss your cute kids! We really should have been next door neighbors. We are STILL talking about that fun weekend with you guys. We've got to make it an annual tradition!

How great! I just love Disneyland. You guys looked so cute in your rain gear. And how wonderful that you didn't have to wait in long lines. We'll have to go check out the new Toy Story ride. Thanks for the info!

Ok so you have officially made me want to go to DL! We aren't going until December and I don't think I am going to be able to hold out until then....it may have to be in March?? Looks like a super fun trip! Lucky you guys that you didn't have to wait in long lines. That is the absolute BEST!
