Madi's Happy Birthday!

Our little Madi girl turned 4 last week! My, how time is flying by! She had a great birthday. Of course she had been excited for months, and she was ecstatic about planning a "Hello Kitty" party!

Birthday Dinner

We started celebrating the night before with a dinner out at Pizza Factory. We got to bring Annie along for the fun and we're lucky to have Grandma and Grandpa join us too. Madi loved having her very own 4 year old pizza!

We all enjoyed a fun night and delicious pizza and bread twists. (The kids love PF bread twists, as do I.)

Birthday Muffin

Birthday muffins are a tradition at our house, established because of the love my kids have for Costco muffins. I love how exciting birthday mornings are...and how easy! (Thank you Costco bakery.)

Party Time

Pinata. check. Cake. check. Goody bags. check. All ready to go...

...well almost.

The Birthday Girl wasn't quite ready. All the anticipation just wore her right out. She decided she needed a little nap before the party started.

I could not believe she fell asleep like this! She had a nice big dent in her cheek when I woke her up!

It was so fun for Madi to have all of her friends over for a party. They were all so cute and sweet. They had fun playing our little game where they all got a lovely noise maker to choose. (Sorry about that Moms, what can I say, it was a hit.)

Madi really got spoiled by all of her friends, she was so delighted with so many fun presents!

Pinata Time

The pinata has become the highlight of my kids birthday parties. They love it! Who wouldn't love to whack a bag with a bat and then gather up hand fulls of candy?

Cake Time

Madi loved her "Hello Kitty" cake. I found these cute little dancing figurines to decorate it with and she loved them!

We almost got a shot of the whole group, here is most of the gang- Olivia, Kiley, Chandler, Ava, Madi, Pierce, Annie, Ella, Seb, Jona. It was so cute to have them all sitting up here together. We are missing cute Evey and Lily who were too busy to be in the shot.

Madi had such a fun "friend party"! It really was so cute. She loved every minute of it, and I did too. We are so lucky to have so many great friends!

After the "friend party" we had a quick dinner and got ready for the "cousin party". We had our Hall and Eves cousins, along with Grandma and Grandpa, over for cake and ice cream. She loved opening more presents and especially loved her new collection of Barbie dresses from Brother and a new bike from Mom and Dad!

What a day this Birthday Girl had! We all had so much fun celebrating Madi. I love my kids' birthdays, pure joy.

Our New Arrivals!

Just last week I realized our kitty, Mittens, was pregnant. (Mittens is the kitten we kept from our Bella's litter last year) So, we were surprised that after only a week of knowing she was expecting, they arrived! I was panicking at the moment but it was a little funny....
They arrived on Tuesday afternoon- that morning I had swept out the garage and put the box we had ready for her in a spot I thought she'd be ok with, hoping that she'd do well and have them in the box. (Bella was a pro and had her's in the box we prepared for her) I had also noticed the cats had been trying to climb into our brand new bike trailer and didn't want that. (Ryan just got me a bike and a trailer to take Madi in, we love it! He is awesome!) So I cleaned it off and made sure the cover was closed up all the way, I then told Ryan on the phone that I thought we should just cover it when we weren't using it so the kitties wouldn't get it all cat-hair-covered. (We love our kitties, but they stay outside.) So late that afternoon the kids and I were getting ready to leave and I told them to go get in the car, they went out and quickly ran back in yelling...."Moooooomm!!!! Mittens had her babies in the buggy!!!" (Buggy = bike trailer) You've got to be kidding me. I ran out to find that she had them all out and cleaned off already, 5 wet teeny tiny kittens in the bottom of the buggy. Nice. I was a few hours late on getting it covered up. Luckily, Mittens was very good about me moving her and the babies to the box. Thank goodness. And I got the buggy all cleaned up. Here they are...

About 5 hours old

Pierce and Madi are so excited! Of course I am too, kittens are such a fun experience with little kids. We all can't wait until we can hold them! For now, we go out and look at them lots.

2 days old. I love this picture. I just love how they all pile on top of each other. It's so funny to watch them. Stinkin' cute tiny things. I am amazed that they are all 5 so different!

Mittens the new Momma

We plan on having lots of fun with them over the next 8 weeks. After that, if any one wants a kitten, let me know! :)

Our Hoppin' Easter

The kids were so excited for Easter this year, it was so fun for me to be excited with them! We had a wonderful celebration...

"Cousin Easter Hunt"

Saturday we had a fun morning with a few of our Robison cousins. (Ok, really that meant 19 kids, but I'll say a few since we were missing 2 families) We had a delicious breakfast and a fun Easter Egg hunt with the Hall, Eves and McDermott cousins. The kids were totally delighted and loved every second of it. A big Thank You to Jeff and Crystal for having us all over to enjoy their beautiful yard!

I loved following the kids around and snapping pictures of them, Madi girl-

Pierce was thrilled to be on the hunt...

Although the hunt was loads of fun, as you can see, it's also a very serious hunting matter as well...

Cute Cousins!

Easter Cupcakes

I absolutely loved Conference this weekend. Some of the best talks are always on Saturday and I was just loving them. After an enjoyable afternoon of Conference, Ryan headed to the priesthood session that evening and we had the Woodburys over to let the kids decorate cupcakes while the Daddies were gone.

Pierce - have I mentioned how sweet this boy is?! I love this sweet face! And I also love the fact that his front tooth is still missing.

Madi - of course refuses to pose for a picture, but as you can see, thoroughly enjoyed the cupcakes

Jack, (so in love with these blue eyes! could he be any cuter?!) Annie and Grant - no wonder we love them so much!

The kids loved decorating, eating and sharing the cupcakes. They had fun taking a few plates around to share with friends. I just love the coconut and jelly beans, and I love sharing holiday traditions with my children.

Easter Morning

Of course the kids were giddy with excitement to wake up and find what the Easter Bunny had left for them.

They were too fast for me to get a better picture but I love the excitement in their faces as the race into the living room!

Pierce was so excited to find Ninja Turtles in his Easter Eggs! (The Easter Bunny had a great helper for that and was very thankful!)

Madi was absolutely thrilled to find a "Hello Kitty" DVD for her! She also loved getting some new lip gloss and "Care Bear" stamps, and of course plenty of yummy candy!

Pierce was on Cloud 9 with his Ninja Turtles and "Bolt" DVD!

After a fun and exciting morning we were able to enjoy listening to Conference. I really enjoyed having Easter and Conference on the same day this year. It was a wonderful and inspiring day. The kids were good to do quiet activities and they love their conference "Bingo" game. (And who can really blame them for eating most of the candy markers? Good thing we had plenty of candy for refills.)

We loved listening to the inspiring messages from our Prophet and Apostles and inspired Church leaders, we loved the joy in our children. We loved reading to them from the Scriptures of our Savior and His death and resurrection, I am amazed and at their understanding of the Scripture stories and of Jesus' life and love for them. Truly they have brilliant little minds and spirits. I am so thankful for my beautiful, precious family and for my Savior Jesus Christ and His gospel. Truly, I am blessed.
