Loved

A few things I loved about this Valentines Day...

This little boy's excitement about Valentines Day, giving Valentines to his friends, his party at school and making his very cool Valentines Box!

Pretty flowers from the Husband (Really love my husband too)

Delicious Valentine Sugar Cookies! Making them, decorating them with the kids and eating them.

My 2 little Love Bugs. (And Madi's heart hair-do, thanks to Kathryn for the cute idea!)

I also loved...
my kids excitement over getting Valentines in the mail from Papa and Susan
more excitement from the kids over getting Valentines in the mail from Ellie and Addie
my very own Valentine from Addie
and more excitement from the kids over getting Valentines in the mail from Aunt Kate, and her Hannah Montana Valentines
watching my kids run to the door to deliver Valentines to their friends
and did I mention I loved eating sugar cookies?

Sleeping Beauty

Words cannot express how much I love this little Sleeping Beauty...

Of course it's hard to imagine anything else when she's slumbering so sweetly.
I'll be back to look at this post when she throws her next fit.

Trip Day 4 - Our Last Day of Non-Stop-Fun-With-The-Rockin' Rollins

Our last day of partying with the Rollins was packed with fun! We got to Disneyland before it opened and were happy to see clear skies. We headed to Fantasyland first and hit some of our favorite rides for the second time and got to do Dumbo (yay! much too rainy to do it the 1st day, Madi was thrilled!)

The birthday girl, Ellie, and great little sis. A Disneyland Birthday...A kids dream come true!

Madi having fun in Fantasyland (she was doing a little dance and would not hold still for the picture, but it was great photo op with the castle!)

Star Wars Training

This was a major highlight of Disneyland! Pierson got to do the Star Wars Training! We were so lucky that he got to do it, as we tried on Monday and they had canceled all the shows due to the rain, then he got in this first showing of the day and I was SO thankful, as it started pouring again later and it ended up being the only show of the day. Yes, very lucky indeed. If you have a little boy, this is a must for Disneyland!

It is quite the production! They randomly choose kids out of the audience to become Jedi Knights, they put robes on them and arm them with "light savers" and then teach them a little Jedi fighting technique. Then..."Dark Vader" shows up with Darth Maul and Storm Troopers, trying to persuade the new Jedi Knights to join the Dark Side! Each kid gets a turn to fight the Dark Side! Here is Pierce battling "Dark Vader"!

These are some of my favorite pics of the whole trip! I LOVE his face, this was serious business and so real to him! I don't even like Star Wars and I LOVED this! So much fun to watch him!

Mickey's Toon Town

Next we headed to Toon Town and were lucky enough to ride the roller coaster twice before the rain started coming down again.

Ellie is an absolute crack up throwing her arms up in the air and screaming! Pierce had so much fun riding in front with her (twice!) and the little girls loved it too!

Once the rain started coming down again, we headed for inside enjoyment and went to meet Mickey and Minnie.

A favorite Mom moment for me, these pictures are a treasure to me!

The whole gang!

Madi loved meeting Minnie and exploring her cute house, she didn't want to leave! When we came out of Minnie's house it was pouring pretty hard, so we headed straight to the Princess Fantasy Fare in hope of meeting a few more princesses, and of course getting out of the down pour!

Princess Heaven

This time we got to meet Mulan (I love this movie, but don't understand how she gets thrown in with the princesses, she's totally not a princess) of course Madi loved it, and Pierce thought she was pretty cool too! He is a big fan of the movie.

Sleeping Beauty again, though this time was much cooler for Pierce as he had acquired a "Prince Philip" sword and shield.

Madi's favorite princess was Snow White. (Which was funny, because she barley knew who she was before this trip and watched the movie for the 1st time at Ellie and Addie's) She was pretty quiet meeting the princesses, but as soon as we were done, she exclaimed, "I got to meet a real princess!" I'm tellin' you, it was Princess Heaven for this girl. I also decided that these princesses have the best job ever. Seriously, get all dressed up, looking absolutely perfect and stepping out of a Fairytale, and have darling little girls adore you for hours at a time!

As soon as we stepped out into the rain again we decided to call it a day. It was pouring! I mean major downpour! We couldn't believe it, Kenny and Erin, kept telling us, "it never rains like this in Southern California!" And they were right, apparently Southern California hadn't gotten that much rain since 1950! It was crazy just trying to walk out of the park, we got back to the hotel and we were completely SOAKED! Even though we had cut the day short I was so happy about the advantages of the rain. It didn't matter that we left early because we got to do SO much, so quickly. We got to do everything we wanted to do in such a short amount of time, I decided the rain was our friend. Even though we were completely drenched, I'd go back on a rainy day anytime! It was awesome!

We got everyone dried off and packed up. The kids loved their last few minutes of play time, especially with their new treasures from Disneyland.

We were sad to say good-bye and I was so bummed that our vacation with the Rockin' Rollins was over. We had the best time and we can't thank them enough!

It wasn't long before the kids looked like this...
(Notice the drool on Madi's cheek)

And as I was dreading the laundry once I got home, thanks to the rain, we enjoyed this on our drive...
Great trip, Great friends, we love you Kenny & Erin! The End.
